Power interlock switch removal
To remove the Power interlock switch, follow these steps:
- Remove the service access cover.
- Disconnect the power source from the system by unplugging the system.
- Disconnect the signal cable from its attached location to the system board.
- The power interlock switch is attached to the inner right wall of the chassis. Press the blue locking tab under the switch and gently slide the mechanism rearward to unlatch it from its screw holds.
- Remove the switch from its holding device.
