Storage interposer card removal
To remove the Storage interposer card, follow these steps:
- Remove the service access cover.
- Identify the storage interposer card location.
- Disconnect the power source from the system by unplugging the system.
- Remove the external Serial-attached SCSI (SAS) port.
- Remove the internal SAS cable from the disk drive backplane.
- Disengage the disk drive backplane and pull it forward several inches (approximately halfway out).
- Pull the blue release latch to the open position.
- Lift the storage interposer out of the system.
