Front fan removal
To remove the front fan, follow these steps:
- Disconnect the power source from the system by unplugging the system.
- Open the doors above the fans.

Remove the fan, as follows:
- Locate the failing system fan to be replaced. It is the fan indicated by the amber fault LED being lit.
- Squeeze the latch and remove the fan.
- While squeezing the latch, reach through the hole of the failing fan and pull the fan out of the fan cage.
