Large internal fan removal
To remove the large internal fan, follow these steps:
- Disconnect the power source from the system by unplugging the system.
- Open the fan access cover.

To remove the main system fan located toward the left side follow this step, else go to next step.
- Locate the failing system fan to be replaced. It is the fan indicated by the amber fault LED being lit.
- While squeezing the latch, reach through the hole of the failing fan and pull the fan out of the fan cage.
