GX++ card removal
To remove the GX++ card, follow these steps:
- Remove the service access cover.
- Disconnect and label any necessary cables with the proper connection information. The labels make it easier to reconnect the cables after you replace the adapter.
- If applicable, remove any mechanical retaining brackets.
- Disconnect the power source from the system by unplugging the system.
- Remove the existing adapter assembly. Unlock the latch above the adapter slot by pulling the latch toward the back of the system.
- Remove the existing adapter assembly by unlocking the latches on the adapter. Pull up the latches into the open position, and lift the adapter out of the system.
