SSD drive removal
To remove the SSD drive, follow these steps:
- Remove the adapter from the system.
- Place the adapter on a surface that is electrostatic-discharge protected.
- Lift the lever for the SSD that you are replacing to a fully vertical position.
- With the lever in the vertical position, firmly push the lever away from the adapter tailstock to undock the two SSDs from their connectors.
- Lift the single device retaining latch for only the SSD that you are replacing by first moving it away from the center of the SSD divider and then lifting it to a fully vertical position.
- Using the device access finger openings, push the single SSD that you are replacing out of the device holder.
- Grasp the SSD and continue to remove it from the adapter.
