To remove a DIMM:

1. Remove the Top Cover:
   
   
   1. Turn off the server and all peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
      
      
   2. Press the button and lift the cover-release latch. The cover will move to the rear approximately one half inch.Lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
      
      
2. Remove the Memory Card:
   
   
   1. Slide the blue release lever toward the rear of the server, rotate the retention levers to the open position, and then lift the memory card out of the server and place it on a static protected surface. Use the same procedure to remove any additional memory cards if required.
      
      
3. Remove the DIMM:
   
   
   1. Push out on the two retaining clips, lift the DIMM out of the socket, and place it on a static protected surface
