Text from the audio portion of the middle hot-swap fan installation movie
To install a Middle Hot-swap Fan:
- Using the socket for alignment place the fan in the server and press down until it clicks into place.
Note, make sure that the error LED on the replacement fan is off.

Install the Top Cover:
- With the cover release latch in the open position place the cover on top of the server so that the tabs on the cover align with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the top cover forward while closing the release latch.
- With the cover release latch in the open position place the cover on top of the server so that the tabs on the cover align with the slots in the chassis.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
