Text from the audio portion of the adapter installation movie

To install an Adapter:

  1. Insert the adapter into the connector on the system board and secure with the single screw.
  2. Connect the two SAS cables to the adapter.
  3. Close the rear adapter retainer.
  4. Use the same procedure to install any additional adapters if required.
  5. Return the server to its normal operating position.
  6. Install the side Cover:
    1. Position the channel on the cover over the rail on the bottom edge of the chassis.
    2. Rotate the cover toward the chassis and then press down on the cover release latch and close the cover.
    3. Lock the side cover if required.
