Media device removal
To remove the media device, follow these steps:
-
Remove the front cover.
- Remove the two thumbscrews that secure the front cover to the system unit.
- Push the cover release latches to release the cover from the system unit.
- Pull the cover out and away from the system unit.
- Press the retaining tab away from the media device until it is unseated from the media bay.
- Pull the media device away from the system.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
