Disk drive removal
To remove the disk drive, follow these steps:
-
Remove the front cover.
- Pull out the latches located on both sides of the cover.
- Pull off the cover to remove it from the system unit.

Remove the disk drive:
- Unlock the disk drive handle by squeezing it and pulling it out toward you.
- Support the bottom of the disk drive as you slide it out of the system. Do not hold the disk drive by the handle.
