To remove the video and USB cable:
- Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
- Push in on the button to release the top cover latch and then rotate it up. The cover will move approximately one-half inch to the rear.
- Lift the cover off and set it aside.
Remove the video and USB cable:
Note that the bezel, dimm baffle, and fans have been removed to provide a better view.
- Remove the two hex studs securing the video cable connector to the chassis.
- Squeeze the retainer clips on the sides of the USB connector and pull the connector from the chassis.
- Disconnect the video and USB connector from the system board and
- Lift the cables from the server.
