To remove the remote battery tray:
- Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
- Push in on the button to release the top cover latch and then rotate it up. The cover will move approximately one-half inch to the rear.
- Lift the cover off and set it aside.
Remove the remote battery tray:
- Press the tabs toward the inside of server
- Rotate the tray up and lift it out of the chassis.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
