Text from the audio portion of the operator information panel cable removal movie
To remove the operator information panel cable:
- Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
- Push in on the button to release the top cover latch and then rotate it up. The cover will move approximately one-half inch to the rear.
- Lift the cover off and set it aside.
Remove the operator information panel cable:
Note that the fan has been removed to provide a better view.
- Disconnect the cable form the panel
- Disconnect the operator information panel cable from the system board and remove the cable.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
