Text from the audio portion of the CD-RW/DVD drive removal movie
To remove a CD-RW/DVD drive:
- Turn off the server and all peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
- Press down firmly on the blue tab on top of the cover and slide it to the rear until it disengages from the chassis.
- Lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove the CD-RW/DVD drive:
- Press down on the release tab and push the drive toward the front of the server then pull the drive from the bay.
- Lift the retention clip from the drive and set it aside.
