Text from the audio portion of the PCI riser-card assembly removal movie
To remove PCI riser-card assembly:
- Turn off the server and all peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
- Press down firmly on the blue tab on top of the cover and slide it to the rear until it disengages from the chassis.
- Lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove PCI riser-card assembly:
- Grasp the riser-card assembly at the front tab and rear edge, then lift it from the server and place it on a flat static-protective surface.
Use the same procedure to remove the second riser-card assembly if required.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
