Text from the audio portion of the virtual media key removal movie
To remove the IBM virtual media key:
- Turn off the server and all peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
- Press down firmly on the blue tab on top of the cover and slide it to the rear until it disengages from the chassis.
- Lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove the IBM virtual media key:
- Grasp the media key and carefully lift it off its connector.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
