Battery removal movie for the IBM System x3500.
Content
To remove the Battery:
Remove the Left-side Cover:
- Unlock the side cover and press the cover-release latch down while rotating the top edge of the cover away from the server; then, lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
- Place the system on its right side this is the recommended service position.
Remove the Battery:
- Press the latch to release the battery and lift it out.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
