Abstract
Operator panel assembly installation movie for the IBM System x3650.
Content
To install the Operator panel assembly:
- Thread the cable into the bay and slide the panel into the server until it latches in place.
- Inside the server secure the cable to the top of the panel using the hook and loop fastener.
- Connect the cable to the system board.
Install the Hot-Swap Fan Bracket Assembly:
- Ensure that the bracket levers are in the open position.
- Position the bracket into the chassis using the alignment tabs as a guide.
- Rotate the levers to the locked position and insure that all of the fans are seated

Install the Cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch to the closed position.
