Abstract
ServeRAID SAS controller removal movie for the IBM System x3650.
Content
To remove the ServeRAID SAS controller:
Turn off the server and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the Cover:
- Press in the cover release latch and rotate up while sliding the cover the rear approximately one-half inch.
- Lift the cover off and place to the side.
Remove the Riser Card Assembly:
- While pressing on the two release latches lift the Riser Card Assembly out and place it on an ESD protected surface.
Remove the ServeRAID SAS Controller:
- Push out on the two latches and lift the ServeRAID SAS Controller out of the socket.
- Place it on the ESD protected surface.
Note: The ServeRAID cable has been removed to provide a better view.
