To remove the CD/DVD interposer card
- Slide the cover release latches and rotate the Fan Doors open.
- Release the DVD drive assembly and slide it forward.
- Move the video and USB cables to gain access to the latch.
- Remove the two screws.
- Move the latch to the open position.
- Lift the interposer card off the alignment post.
- Disconnect the cable and place the card on an ESD protected surface.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
