To remove a Hot-Swap fan
- Slide the cover release latches and rotate the Fan Doors open.
- Disconnect the cable for the selected fan.
- Grasp the pull tab on the top of the fan and lift it out.

Use the same procedure to remove any other fans if required.
Note: For proper cooling of the server replace a failed fan as soon as possible.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
