Abstract
IBM System x3550 (Type 1013, 1913, 7978) - Media Bezel and Video Cable Assembly installation movie
Content
To install the Media Bezel and Video Cable Assembly:
- Feed the cable through the media bay.
- Insert the hinge tabs on the bottom of the bezel into the slots in the chassis.
- Rotate the top of the bezel towards the system until flush with the chassis and secure with the two screws.
- Route the video cable through the slot in the chassis and connect it to the system board.
- Position fan number 4 over the bracket insuring that the air flow indicator is pointing to the rear of the server.
- Push the fan assembly down until the blue mounting grommets are seated.
- Push the Disk Drive Bay Cage Assembly into the bay until flush with the chassis and secure with the three screws.
Install the Top Cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward and secure with the single captive screw.
- Rotate the Fan Door to the closed and latched position.
