Abstract
IBM System x3550 (Type 1013, 1913, 7978) - CD-RW/DVD Drive removal movie
Content
To remove the CD-RW/DVD Drive:
- Open the Fan Door.
- Slide the cover release latches and rotate the Fan Door open.
Remove the CD-RW/DVD Drive:
- Press the release tab down to release the drive; then, while pressing the tab push the drive toward the front of the server.
- From the front of the server, pull the drive out of the bay.
- Lift the retention clip from the drive.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
