To remove the Remote Supervisor Adapter II:
Remove the Top Cover:
- Turn off the server and all peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
- Lift the cover-release latch.
- Slide the cover towards the rear of the server approximately one half inch and then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove the Remote Supervisor Adapter II:
- Remove the adapter retention screw.
- Pull the adapter from the slot to gain access to the cable.
- Disconnect the cable from the adapter.
- Place the card on an ESD-protected surface.
