To remove the Adapter Retention Bracket:
Remove to Top cover:
- Turn off the server and all peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
- Lift the cover-release latch.
- Slide the cover towards the rear of the server approximately one half inch and then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove the Adapter Retention Bracket:
- Release the bracket hinge tab from the slot on the chassis and lift out the bracket.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
