Abstract
IBM System x3850 M2 (7141, 7144), x3950 M2 (7141) - Battery installation movie
Content
To install the Battery:
- Position the battery in the housing with the positive (+) symbol facing out, and then press the battery into the housing until it snaps into place.
Install the Top Cover:
- Position the cover on top of the server so that the tabs on the cover align with the slots on the chassis.
- Make sure that the cover-release latch is up.
- Slide the top cover forward while pressing the release latch closed.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
