Remove the Top cover:
- Turn off the server and all peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
- Lift the cover-release latch.
- Slide the cover towards the rear of the server approximately one half inch and then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove the Memory card:
Note: If hot swapping memory cards, make sure that the hot-swap enabled LED is on and the memory card power LED is off before you remove the memory card.
- Slide the orange release latch to the unlocked position; then, simultaneously rotate the levers open; then, lift card from the server and place it on the ESD protected surface.
