Text from the audio portion of the riser card assembly installation movie
To install the riser card assembly
- Position the assembly in the server using the connector on the system board and the spring retainer on the rear of the chassis for alignment and press down to seat.
- Use the same procedure to install the second riser card assembly if required.
- Here is a closer look at the spring retainer action.
Install the top cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward, ensuring that the channel in the front of the cover engages edge on the chassis, and secure with the single captive screw.
- Here is a closer look at a slot in the chassis and a tab on the cover.
- Here is a closer look at the channel on the front of the cover.
