To remove the top cover
-
Turn off the server and all peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
-
Loosen the captive screw on the rear of the chassis.
-
Slide the cover towards the rear of the server approximately one half inch and then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
