Text from the audio portion of the hot-swap hard disk drive removal movie
To remove a hot-swap hard disk drive:
-
Press the release latch and rotate the drive tray handle to the open position.

Wait approximately 30 seconds for the drive to spin down.

Then pull the drive from the bay.
Use the same procedure to remove any additional drives.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
