To install a power backplane

1. Place the backplane in the server using the tabs in the chassis and the edge connector for alignment.
2. Slide the backplane toward the center of the server until the connector is fully seated.
3. Connect the power cable.

Install the fan bracket assembly:

1. Using the guides on the assembly and the slots in the chassis for alignment lower the fan-bracket assembly into the chassis.
2. Push the fan-bracket-assembly levers toward the rear of the server until they stop then pinch the release latches and metal tabs together and push the levers down into place.
3. Press down on the metal tabs and the fans to be sure the fan-bracket assembly is fully seated.

Install the top cover:

1. Position the cover over the chassis, aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
2. Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.

Install the power supply:

1. Slide the Power Supply into the bay until secured by the retention latch.
