To install a front adapter retention bracket
-
Position the hinge pin on one side of the bracket into the hole in the chassis and then flex the other side of the bracket to seat the other pin.
-
Rotate the bracket down until latched in place.

Return the server to its operational position.
Install the side cover:
-
Position the cover over the ledge on the bottom of the chassis.

Rotate the cover toward the server until secured by the latch.
-
Lock the cover if required.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
