Abstract
Instructions for installing the PCI-X adapter in any xSeries 366 and xSeries 460 server.

Text from the audio portion of the PCI-X adapter installation movie
To install the PCI-X adapter guide:
- Align the two tabs on the PCI-X adapter guide with the two slots on the chassis.
- Set the guide firmly into place, and turn the quarter-turn fasteners to secure the guide.
- Squeeze the retention latch and lift to the open position.
To install an insulator:
- Position the top tab on the insulator into the top slot on the rear chassis.
- Gently rotate the insulator tab until the bottom tab aligns with the bottom slot on the rear chassis.
- Repeat to install remaining insulators.
- With the insulators installed, slide down the retaining latch to secure the insulators and any adapters in place.
Install the top cover:
- Position the cover on the chassis while aligning the tabs on the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover toward the front of the system, and secure it with the cover-release latch handle.
