Instructions for removing the front and rear adapter retainers of an xSeries 226 server.

To remove the front and rear adapter retainers:

  1. Remove the side cover.
  2. Place the server in the service position.
  3. Rotate the front adapter retainer to the open position and lift it off.
  4. Rotate the rear adapter retainer to the open position lift it off.
