Instructions for removing drives from the media bay of an xSeries 226 server.

Text from the audio portion of the media bay drive removal movie
To remove a drive from media bays 1, 2, or 3:
- Turn off the server and all attached peripheral devices. Disconnect all power cords and all external signal cables.
- Remove the side cover.
- Remove the Bezel.
- Disconnect the power cable and the signal cable from the drive.
- A CD-ROM drive is shown in bay 1.
- If required, the EMC shield can be removed or added to a bay by using a flat blade tool to pry it out from the bay, or push it in the bay until it is seated.
- Press the release button on the drive and slide the drive out of the bay.
