To remove an HS20 Blade:

1. Shut down the operating system and power off the blade.
2. Wait 30 seconds for the disk drive to spin down.
3. Squeeze the latches to release the handles, then rotate the handles to the open position, slide the blade out and place it on an ESD mat or flat non-conductive surface.

To remove the Blade cover:

1. Press in the cover tabs to release the latches, and then rotate the cover up and lift it off

To remove the IDE hard disk drive:

1. Press down the release latch and slide the drive out of the connector, then lift it out of the blade. Note: Care should be taken when handling disk drives. Disk drives are very susceptible to damage if pressure is applied to the top surface or any shock is induced by dropping or bumping a drive; even a 1-inch drop can damage the drive.

To install the IDE hard disk drive:

1. Position the screws on the sides of the hard disk drive into the slots in the tray. Slide the drive into the connector until it is seated and the latch secures it.

To install the Blade cover:

1. Position the cover hinges over the pins in the blade chassis, and then rotate the cover down until the latches secure it.

To install an Blade:

1. Slide the blade in and then close the latches simultaneously until secured by the latches
