Text description of CD-ROM drive removal
Remove the power and signal cables. Press in on the two latches to release the drive, and then slide the CD-ROM drive out of the system. To remove a rail, pull out on the retaining clip to release the rail, then lift it off. Use the same procedure to remove the other rail.
Text description of CD-ROM drive installation
Position the rail and spring retainer over the holes in the device and press the spring retainer to secure. Slide the CD-ROM into the drive bay until it is secured with the two latches. Connect the signal and power cables.
