Text description of non-hot-plug PCI adapter removal
If you are removing a full length PCI card, rotate the adapter retention clip to the open position. For the half-length card that is being removed, this retention clip does not have to be opened. Rotate the adapter retention latch. Grasp the PCI card; lift it up and out of the connector. If a cable is attached to the card, disconnect both ends of the cable and remove the cable. Here's a closer view of the RSA II adapter cable attached to the system board.
Text description of non-hot-plug PCI adapter installation
Connect the cable to the PCI card. Connect the cable to the system board. Position and seat the PCI card into the system board connector. Close the adapter retention latch. Close the adapter retention clip if it was opened. Here's a closer view of the RSA II adapter keyed connector on the card.
