Text description of hard drive removal

Open server door. Release the hard disk drive tray handle and let the drive spin down. Grasp the hard disk drive and slide the drive out of the system.

Text description of hard drive installation

Ensure that the drive tray handle is in the open position. Align the drive with the guide rails in the bay. Slide the drive into the bay and then rotate the drive tray handle to the closed position. To remove the filler plate, insert a finger into the finger hole and pull the filler plate out. To install the filler plate, slide the filler plate in the bay until it snaps into place.

Note: Remove the filler plate when installing a hot-swap drive. Install a blank bezel when a drive is not installed.
