Text from the audio portion of thefloppy diskette drive removal

To remove the diskette drive assembly:

  1. Disconnect the primary IDE cable and the power cable
  2. Loosen the thumbscrew
  3. Slide the drive out the back

To remove the drive from the assembly:

  1. Push down the release tab on the assembly
  2. Spread the sides
  3. Slide the drive out of the assembly
  4. Lift out the interposer card

For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
