Text from the audio portion of the hard disk drive removal and installation movie
To remove a hot-swap hard disk drive:
- Push down the thumb latch and pull the drive out about 1 inch to disconnect it.
- Wait 30 seconds for the drive to spin down, then pull the drive out of the bay.
To install a hot-swap hard disk drive:
- Slide the drive into the bay until it latches.
