Text description of CD-ROM removal
To remove the CD-ROM drive:
- Release the spring clip.
- Slide the drive off the connectors and out of the chassis.
- Here is a closer look at the spring clip release.
To remove the interposer card:
- Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable.
- Lift out the card and place it on the ESD mat.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
