Text description of hard disk drive and blank bezel installation and removal
To remove a hot-swap hard disk drive:
- Release the latch, and rotate the drive tray handle to the open position.
- Wait approximately 30 seconds for the drive to spin down.
- Then pull the drive from the bay.
To remove a blank:
- Insert your finger in the hole, and pull out the blank.
To install a hot-swap hard disk drive:
- Ensure that the drive tray handle is open and push the drive into the bay until it connects to the backplane.
- Push the handle to the right until it latches.
Use this procedure to remove and install the other hot-swap hard disk drives.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
