Text description of SMP Expansion Module removal
To remove the SMP Expansion Module:
- Lift the filler block air baffle off the module.
- Lift out the retention bracket.
- Pull the push rivets on the EMC shield, and lift the shield off the chassis.
- Lift the levers to release the latch and rotate the levers open to disconnect the module.
- Then use the handle to lift the module out of the server.
- Here is a closer look at the lever action.
