"Could not fetch uploaded file contents" when uploading any file to Cognos Analytics

Troubleshooting


Problem

When attempting to upload any file to Cognos Analytics, the error message "Could not fetch uploaded file contents" appears.

Symptom

Query service active but doesn't seem to be working.
No XQE logs found in <cognos_install>/logs/xqe.
Report queries unable to run.
Uploaded files are saved but contain no data.
