Question

Within the Page Categories report of the next-gen UI, there is a three dot icon right beside the Page name. One option available when this icon is clicked, is 'link click data'. What does this link retrieve?

Answer

All standard HTML links that have Link Click tags will produce link click data. The data will be listed in the Excel file which is retrieved when  'link click data' is clicked for an individual web page in the Page Categories report. The Excel file will contain the following information over two tabs in:

a) for each link it will give: link name, link URL, clicks, clickthrough percentage, sessions, orders, percent of orders, sales, percent of sales, orders/sessions

b) for the overall page, it will give: page views, online sales, online orders, orders/sessions, clicks, entry page views, departure page views, sessions, one page sessions, average time on page
