What Version of TMF SID is supported by the different versions of Telco Pack

Answer

There are multiple versions of the Telco Pack that different customer have used over the last 10+ years.

1. Telco Pack 6.2
This version was an official release (formerly known as Telco Operations Content Pack (TOCP))
It was designed and tested to work on WebSphere Dynamic Process Edition (WDPE) which is no longer supported.
The SID version used was a very early version of Frameworxs SID, from 6.5/7.0 era.
The SID has all the general hierarchy such as Party/PartyRole, Product/Service/Resource etc, but has little to no concrete classes beyond that base hierarchy.
This version required heavy use of Characteristic-Specifications (name-value pairs) for even simple elements such as first name etc.

2. Telco Pack 7.5
This version was an official release (It was known as the IBM BPM Telco Pack and sold as part of the "Industry Content Packs" product set)
It was designed and tested to work on BPM Advanced/Standard 7.5
The SID version used was a very early version of Frameworxs SID, from 9.0/10.0 era.
The SID has all the general hierarchy such as Party/PartyRole, Product/Service/Resource etc, but has little to no concrete classes beyond that base hierarchy.
This version required heavy use of Characteristic-Specifications (name-value pairs) for even simple elements such as first-name etc.

3. Telco Pack 7.5 Fixpack
This version was an official release (It was known as the IBM BPM Telco Pack and sold as part of the "Industry Content Packs" product set)
It was designed and tested to work on BPM Advanced/Standard 7.5.0.1
The SID version used was a very early version of Frameworxs SID, from 9.0/10.0 era.  There were minor fixes and updates to the SID models.
The SID has all the general hierarchy such as Party/PartyRole, Product/Service/Resource etc, but has little to no concrete classes beyond that base hierarchy.
This version required heavy use of Characteristic-Specifications (name-value pairs) for even simple elements such as first-name etc.

4. Telco Pack 7.5 (7.5.0.0-WS-BPMIP-IFJR48588 - iFix)
This version was a PMR release designed to address a defect for the old pack not running on IIB due to complex inheritance and recursion
Released November 2013
It was designed and tested to work on BPM Advanced/Standard 8.5.0 as well as IIB (Broker)
The whole pack was designed and written from scratch in the BPM process designer, and made available as a TWX and an IID project interchange (PI)
The SID version was updated to Frameworxs SID,12.5.  The TAM interfaces were updated to Frameworxs 12.5
The SID has all the general hierarchy such as Party/PartyRole, Product/Service/Resource etc, and also added all the concrete classes beyond that base hierarchy.
   e.g. Equipment, LSR, Hardware, IndividualIdentification, IndividualName, Place, UrbanPropertyAddress etc
This version no longer requires as extensive use of Characteristic Specification and it is generally recommended to use the SID concrete elements along with Extensions.

5. Telco Pack 7.5 (7.5.0.0-WS-BPMIP-IFJR51530 - iFix)
This version was a PMR release designed to provide updated SID support and to add support for BPM8.5.5
Released October2014
It was designed and tested to work on BPM Advanced/Standard 8.5.5 as well as IIB 9.0 (Broker)
The whole pack was designed and written from scratch in the BPM process designer, and made available as a TWX and an IID project interchange (PI)
The SID version was updated to Frameworxs SID,13.  The TAM interfaces were updated to Frameworxs 12.5
The SID has all the general hierarchy such as Party/PartyRole, Product/Service/Resource etc, and also added all the concrete classes beyond that base hierarchy.
   e.g. Equipment, LSR, Hardware, IndividualIdentification, IndividualName, Place, UrbanPropertyAddress etc
This version no longer requires as extensive use of Characteristic Specification and it is generally recommended to use the SID concrete elements along with Extensions.
[Used at Frontier, PTCL and SLT]

This was the last official release prior to the product being withdrawn on April 2015.

6. Telco Pack 8.5 (ODC-TP services asset release)
This is the first release following product withdrawal
Released January 2014
It was designed and tested to work on BPM Advanced/Standard 8.5.5 as well as IIB 9.0 (Broker)
The SID version was updated to Frameworxs SID,13.  The TAM interfaces were updated to Frameworxs 12.5
It included general updates to CustomerOrder, Agreeement and CustomerAccount hierarchies, along with general fixes to ensure all objects have extensions and charSpec lists.
The SID has all the general hierarchy such as Party/PartyRole, Product/Service/Resource etc, and also added all the concrete classes beyond that base hierarchy.
   e.g. Equipment, LSR, Hardware, IndividualIdentification, IndividualName, Place, UrbanPropertyAddress etc
This version no longer requires as extensive use of Characteristic Specification and it is generally recommended to use the SID concrete elements along with Extensions.
[Used at Tracfone, Frontier, Mobily, Cogeco, SLT and Bell Canada (Vitria)]

7. Telco Pack 8.5 (ODC-TP services 2nd asset release)
This is the second release following product withdrawal
Released February 2016 as Snapshot TP_20160216_V01
It was designed and tested to work on BPM Advanced/Standard 8.5.5 as well as IIB 9.0 (Broker)
The SID version was updated to Frameworxs SID,13.  The TAM interfaces were updated to Frameworxs 12.5
It included general updates to Workforce and WorkOrder hierarchies, along with general fixes documented under RTC.
The SID has all the general hierarchy such as Party/PartyRole, Product/Service/Resource etc, and also added all the concrete classes beyond that base hierarchy.
   e.g. Equipment, LSR, Hardware, IndividualIdentification, IndividualName, Place, UrbanPropertyAddress etc
This version no longer requires as extensive use of Characteristic Specification and it is generally recommended to use the SID concrete elements along with Extensions.
