Question

Searching for a session results in multiple indentical sessions being returned.

Answer
Tealeaf fragments a user experience into multiple sessions for a multitude of reasons.? Most of these are configuration related and can be validated by contacting IBM Tealeaf Customer support.

In many cases environments experience a certain amount of fragmentation.? When you run a search depending on the criteria it is found in multiple related fragments.? As a result and if automerge is enabled in your?RealiTea Viewer (RTV) client each fragment is stitched back into the complete user experience by joining with the others.? This gives the illusion of duplicate sessions when it fact it is an artifact of Automerge and each session listed is the same.

You can prevent this behavior by disabling Automerge in the RTV client.? When you search the system it returns multiple results.? Instead of each being the merged as a complete user experience they are shown as individual fragments.
