IBM Blueworks Live SSL Certificates are small data files that digitally bind a cryptographic key to IBM's details. Certificates allow for secure connections from Blueworks Live web server to a browser.
These users must ensure to have the latest Blueworks Live certificate:
- Account admins in a Blueworks Live account that uses Single Sign-On (SSO)
- IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) users subscribing to Blueworks Live
- Third-party software provider connecting to Blueworks Live
IBM Blueworks Live certificates are updated every 2 years. Different servers have different renewal dates.
Download the latest version of the Blueworks Live certificates by following these browser-specific steps:
Mozilla Firefox
1. Log into your Blueworks Live account.
2. Click the lock symbol and "International Business Machines (US)" on the left of the address bar.
3. Click "More Information". A page information dialogue appears.
4. Under "Security" tab, click "View Certificate". A certificate viewer dialogue appears.
5. Click "Details" tab and select "[server].blueworkslive.com" under "Certificate Hierarchy" section.
6. Click "Export". The "Save" dialogue appears.
7. Navigate to location where the certificate is to be saved. Choose a location that can be remembered later.
8. Enter "[server].blueworkslive.com" for the certificate name. Select "X.509 Certificate (PEM) (*.crt;*pem)" for type. Click "Save".
9. Close all open dialogues
Google Chrome
1. Log into your Blueworks Live account.
2. Click lock symbol and "International Business Machines (US)" on the left of the address bar
3. Click the "Connections" Tab
4. Click "Certificate Information". A Certificate dialogue appears.
5. Click the "Details" Tab
7. Click "Copy to File". Certificate Export Wizard appears. Click "Next"
8. Select "Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER)" as the export file format. Click "Next"
9. Click "Browse" and navigate to location where certificate is to be saved. Enter "[server].blueworkslive.com" for certificate name. Ensure the "Save As Type" is Base-64 encoded X.509(.cer). Click "Save"
10. The file path is entered into the wizard dialogue. Ensure the file path is correct and click "Next".
11. "Export Successful" dialogue appears. Blueworks Live Certificate is now downloaded successfully to your computer.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
1. Log into your Blueworks Live account.
2. Click lock symbol and "International Business Machines (US)" on the left of the address bar
3. Click "View Certificates". A Certificate dialogue appears.
4. Click "Details" Tab
5. Click row with field "Subject" and value "[server].blueworkslive.com"
Note: If the "Copy to File" button is disabled, run Internet Explorer as an administrator: Close the browser, right-click Internet Explorer icon, and select "Run as Administrator".
6. Click "Copy to File". Certificate Export Wizard appears. Click "Next"
7. Select "Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER)" as the export file format. Click "Next"
8. Click "Browse" and navigate to location where the certificate is to be saved. Enter "[server].blueworkslive.com" for certificate name. Ensure the "Save As Type" is Base-64 encoded X.509 (.cer)
9. Enter file path in wizard dialogue. Ensure file path is correct and click "Next"
10. "Export Successful" dialogue appears. Blueworks Live Certificate is now downloaded successfully to your computer.
